NB Softball 2025 - Spring 2025

Recreation softball for girls ages 7-12 from JBMDL, Chesterfield, Mansfield/Columbus, North Hanover, Springfield, Bordentown, Wrightstown, New Hanover, & Florence. 

Rookie Softball - Girls ages 7-8. Age 7 by the end of the calendar year. Rookie Softball administered by NBIAA (8U players residing in Mansfield, softball is administered by Mansfield - please register here)

Minor Softball - Girls ages 9-10. Age 9 by the end of the calendar year. Minor Softball administered by NBIAA
Major Softball - Girls ages 11-12. Age 11 by the end of the calendar year. Major Baseball administered by NBIAA

10U & 12U evaluations are on March 8th, there will be no 8U evaluations. Team draft will take place on Thursday March 13th.

Practices are expected to start the week of March 17th, at the latest. The official opening of the season will be Saturday April 12th but we will try to have games start earlier in April. There will typically be 1 game per week but if we have an odd number of teams, in order to ensure each team plays at least once a week, another team could play twice. Coaches should plan on having the girls on the field twice a week which would be a combination of games and practices. For the past few years the weather has created challenges, resulting in cancelled games. We work to schedule 10-12 games for each team with a minimum of 8 games so if there are a lot of rain outs and we still need to get games in, there is a chance of multiple games during a week during multiple weeks. The goal is for regular season games to complete no later than June 5th with playoffs and Championships completed by June 11th. If the weather cooperates, we can achieve these goals earlier.
